    Describe the number and type of costumes, props and scenic elements needed. On our follow-up call we can discuss more details.

    We can usually discount for multiples- (i.e. identicals worn by chorus line dancers or multiples you'll need for film continuity (action scenes/fight scenes where you need multiples in different stages of damage or distress).

    Describe any duplicate costumes or multiples needed.

    We can usually include fabrics and materials in the pricing. Ask us.

    Time, budget, materials and complexity all factor into custom work. We can usually charge less when we have more time to design and fabricate!
    Ballpark ranges for many items we make regularly:

    $300 - $900:
    Individual items or simple combos, such as an unlined cape with an unlined vest, a costume accessory or two, etc.

    $1,000 - $2,500:
    2-pc tailored combos, minimal ornamentation, in historic styles, such as skirt + bodice combination, jacket + trousers combination, etc.

    $2,500 - $5,500:
    Combos of 3-pc tailored items in historic styles, such as skirt + bodice + bustle combination, jacket + trousers + waistcoat combination, etc.

    $5,500 - $15,00:
    Custom mascots and product costumes, including furry suits and theme-park 'walkaround' style characters in foam construction.

    $7,500 - $14,500:
    Film-quality replica superheroes or characters.

    YES please attach your sketches, reference images from movies, books, comics, etc, product logos, color swatches, even your music and video files.

    • We need to see you (or your actors) in person for very fitted costumes made of non-stretch fabrics, HOWEVER, we CAN make a big variety of items in fabrics that have some stretch and not need to see you in person. Ask us!

    • If you are a fellow costume designer/buyer/supervisor outside of northern Utah and you’d like us to cut/drape/fabricate for you, let’s chat about the measurement methods and forms we both use. We can frequently custom tailor for bodies remotely if we are both on the same page. Please let’s have a conversation about this as well as how certain garments can or may need to be altered!
