Our handsome client, Gage, asked if we’d build him an all-leather, custom Arsenal jacket in the CW’s ARROW series.

The quiver’s top has (convention safe) fake arrows and it plugs in to contain and conceal purchased convention merch, wallet, goodies etc inside.

America First Credit Union rolled out their new customizable Visa Cards with these hilarious commercials by FaKtory.

We usually build between three and six custom corsets every month and our shop is a destination for clients throughout America who love owning and wearing them. Each bears our famous Salt Lake Tightlacer label.

Custom Tutus: Combat Ready

An unusual project from the archives, one for which a script did not exist prior to the costumes being built.

Jen built the combat tutus very specifically to produce a 2007 specialty performance at Club Area 51 in Salt Lake City. Julie McDaniel was the choreographer extraordinaire. A lovely group of dancers generously donated their grace and talents.

Fun fact for those who may not know: A ‘tutu’ is not a frilly skirt. A tutu is a two-piece garment that combines a fitted bodice with a frilled brief. Both are usually held together with hooks and are sometimes even sewn together.

The clever “Jewelry Massacres” are by artist Justina Parsons-Bernstein, who designed each to accompany a specific tutu.

The tutus and jewelry massacre ensembles have been presented in several gallery exhibits at Universe City in Ogden, Utah and are now part of the McGrews’ permanent collection.  

We can make one just for you in camouflage or other fabric of your choice. We can also make you a skirt instead of a tutu bottom (that has a frilled brief attached). Give us a call at 801-596-2210.
